Their innovative approach removes many of the barriers that keep people from seeking help, like strict inpatient schedules, travel demands, or family separation. With this model, recovery can happen right from home, keeping life stable while still offering the same depth of support found in traditional residential or intensive outpatient programs.
As someone in long-term recovery myself, I know how hard it can be to ask for help — stigma, shame, and sometimes a lack of flexible options all get in the way. Home Base Recovery’s online and in-person format allows for customized addiction treatment designed around each person’s needs. The program includes daily educational modules, one-on-one sessions with certified recovery coaches, and six months of aftercare, so help is not just accessible, but continuous.
What excites me most as a coach is the opportunity to walk alongside clients in their real-world environments. We build resilience and coping skills for the environments where people will actually use them, not just when isolated in a clinic. Loved ones can get involved too, learning tools to support—not enable—healthy choices for themselves and the person in recovery. The team at Home Base Recovery is filled with people who have lived experience, and together we deliver confidential, evidence-based care from anywhere!
Whether someone is stepping into recovery for the first time, or building on previous treatment, Home Base Recovery believes transformation should fit life—not force life to fit treatment. I’m grateful to be part of a program that truly prioritizes accessibility, dignity, and long-term support in recovery. Check us out here
